Meep? *echo*

2 min read
Looking at my journal archives, I see entries with at least six months between them in average. That's mighty lousy, but what can you expect of the Queen of negligence and procrastinating? At least I live up to my nickname.

I've been spending even less time being productive in the last months, than ever before. Oh yeah, do you remember the journal entry from November 2003 where I talked about a screenplay I was writing? Well, I didn't finish it. And it's not only my freetime writing that's suffering under my inability to actually do something productive, instead of spending countless hours surfing the internet and doing nothing at all, I have two Danish essays, one English essay and one Sociology report that I haven't finished yet. The Danish essay was due on February 16 this year. That's bloody three months late and counting. But I can't pull myself together to actually do something about it. Adding the fact that I'm absolutely hopeless at writing essays (I much prefer reports) results in rather angry teachers. And unfortunately I'm quite perfectionistic in the bad way, that is, I will not hand in any assignment in Danish or English, until I am completely satisfied with it. I'm a slow worker as well, so in order for me to be satisfied about something, I need to have been working on and off on it for at least 6 months, and that's just bad. No teacher gives you deadlines that lie 6 months in the future.

Oh well, I better finish my Biology report. At leasy Biology is a subject I can actually do with ease. I demand more Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology, and less Danish, English and Sociology. Heh~ (^_^)

Well, loads and loads and loads and loads (let's go on forever, eh?) of things have changed. I've stopped taking ballet classes, I've become a vegan (since early October 2004, and I haven't felt better ever). And become incredibly lazy. No wait, I've always been lazy. But I shall try to become less lazy: I've started running, and I need to get into shape.

Now in the art world, I suppose I've improved a little; my writing definetely has. And I haven't worked on my celestial art making abilities. So they still suck. ^_^

Bleh.

I got myself a subscription, because I now have a creditcard! Oh, and my birthday was on Feb. 16th, so I am now 15 years old (one of the rules in Denmark, is that you can get a Visa Electron when you're 12, so DK rocks). ^_^

I went and saw The Missing on Friday. It was surprisingly good. I was expecting it to be dull, and boring. But it was both well acted and well put together. And the score was great. I highly recommend it.

I've been spending a lot of time on www.arto.dk . It's a nice place, but I wish people would stop typing LiKe ThIs. X_x It takes a long time to read. And if someone has written a lot that way, I'm not going to bother read it.

I've also been spending a lot of time on www.narniaweb.com . I can hardly wait for the cast to be announced. The Narnia films will surely be marvelous. Unless the crew focuses too much on CGI, and forgets to put the films well together. The books make wonderful stories, but the films can easily turn into a bunch of nonsense. Let's hope not.

Another place I've been checking out regularly, is the message board for The Last Unicorn motion picture (uk.imdb.com/title/tt0314301/bo…). We're all eager to find out who would play Lady Amelthea and Lír. Those two characters don't seem to have been cast yet. This the cast so far:
Christopher Lee as King Haggard
Mia Farrow as Molly Grue
Angela Lansbury as Mommy Fortuna
Rene Auberjonois as Captain Cully and voice of the Skull (voice)
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers as Schmendrick

The cast is pretty well cast, so I trust they will find a good Amelthea and Lír. ;)

I'm writing a screenplay. It's working title is The Blessing of the Dragonfly. It's due for June 2004, so I have plenty of time. I have finished the pre-maincredits scene, scene 1 and scene 3. It's the first draft, so I'm not even completely sure of the character's names or anything. I was thinking about converting the screenplay into book form. But first I have to find a publisher. The stories rather original, so I don't see why it wouldn't get published. And it's got my 'trademark' in it: dragonflies. But one thing at a time. First I have to finish writing the story before doing anything else.

My schedule's changed: Monday, ballet. Tuesday, drama lessons. Wednesday, ballet. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, nothing. Sunday, swimming. After christmas I'll be having a tighter schedule: Monday, ballet. Tuesday, football (soccer). Wednesday, ballet. Thursday, football (soccer). Friday, drama lessons. Sunday, diving.

Enough rambling. I bid you farewell for now.
